Before we get down to designing your brand new system, we'd like to have a chat with you to understand what your perfect solution might look like.
We'll conduct a thorough assessment to understand your energy consumption patterns, lifestyle, budget, and specific requirements for the solar PV system, not to mention checking out your property on Google Maps and Streetview to see what we'll be working with.
The information that we gather during the consultation allows us to put together a tailored system design proposal, outlining the recommended solar panel configuration, inverter type, mounting options, battery storage, estimated costs, financing options, and potential incentives or rebates, for your consideration.
Once you've selected your preferred options, we'll visit your property to evaluate the site's suitability for solar panel installation.
Factors such as roof orientation, tilt, shading, structural integrity, and available space are all assessed to determine the optimal location and size of the solar PV array, as well as any battery storage.
We'll also perform a risk assessment to determine what safety equipment we'll need to keep our installers safe and sound whilst on site.
If all goes well with the technical survey and you're happy with the proposed system design and terms, a final agreement is reached, detailing the scope of work, project timeline, payment schedule, warranties, and any other contractual terms.
Both parties sign the agreement to formalize the collaboration.
Following the consultation phase, we'll go ahead with securing necessary permission, approvals, and utility interconnection agreements required for the solar PV system installation. This ensures compliance with local regulations and grid connection requirements.
Once we've crossed all the T's and dotted the I's, we'll move ahead with acquiring all the necessary equipment, materials, and components for the installation, making sure to carefully plan the logisitics so that everyone and everything we need is available and ready to start work according to the plan.
Now comes the exciting part!
The physical mounting of the solar panels onto the roof, wiring them up, and setting up of the inverters, batteries and monitoring systems is carried out according to the approved design and specifications, ensuring proper integration with the existing infrastructure and adherence to safety standards.
Following physical installation, the next step is to ensure the proper functioning and performance of the solar PV system.
This includes system testing, performance verification, electrical safety checks, communication setup, and grid connection testing.
Now that your shiny new solar PV system has been safely installed, we'll provide you with an overview of the system, along with any training and information required for system operation.
We'll give you a demonstration of how the system works and provide you with any user manuals, troubleshooting guidance, and warranty information.
Throughout the Monitoring and Maintenance phase of a solar PV installation project, Solar Tech Solutions can monitor system's performance, as well as conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspections.
